Does anybody else have one of those houses where as a family you find yourself in a different bed than where you started?? Because I'm not sure what night it was...maybe Sunday or Monday??...anyway Chloe & Owen set up the spare bed in Chloe's room for a bit of fun...and this is how the night proceeded...Chloe was in her bed...Owen was in the spare bed and Andrew & I in ours....sounds all good, right!?! but some how during the night Owen was scared and jumped into bed with Chloe, Chloe couldn't sleep so she hopped into the spare bed Owen was sleeping in....then Owen....lol....must have been scared again and came into our bed...sometime in between Chloe went back to her own bed!?! Man even I'm confused...lol...

I try really hard to make sure the kids come home, have something to eat, change out of their uniforms and read there readers after school...sometimes it doesn't work with one thing or another...however tonight I let down my guard...I was thinking of how Summer will end soon and we will no longer be able to spend a lazy summer's night just having a hit of cricket, a bit of a chat and just time together outside...so as you can see from the photo, I let the kids stay in their informs!  Andrew didn't have any clients for a change so he bbq'ed some meat and steamed some veggies, while Owen and I had hit of cricket....

Chloe was busy on the computer making a word document, one of her latest things...her creation was pretty cute though, she had some clip art pictures with text that read"hi my name is Chloe and I love rainbows" *sigh* After dinner Owen was begging for just 'one' more hit of cricket and since he is so darn cute we all went out for a hit...Chloe is quite the batsman:)

You will also notice in this photo that Owen no longer has his school polo on...that's because he spilt his drink down the front of him in the first 5 minutes of dinner!?! And that is the reason why I make the kids change out of their uniforms!!

Yesterday I had a full day of scrapping...yeah...go me:) I had all of my layouts to do for Shop & Crop which was heaps of fun...so many *awesome* products to use

!!

While is alway good having a whole day of fun...the mess after is alway awful!

ok...so it's like 10:42 at night and I've decided blog after...hmmmm...I don't know how many months...so I really don't have much to share....I had an *awesome* summer...we spent I think it was like 4-5 weeks in Apollo Bay....just one of my most fav places! ok this is a whole place I think I should just move on from, because it was months ago, I guess I could do a recap....nah...maybe some other time!

Hey I'm doing this whole 'I want hair that moves' thing, so since december I've been growing my hair...and I think it's pretty long...it's still not moving much...but it's all fun!

My little Owen has started school and he received student of the week already!...I'm really quite proud...he has been tired heaps...

Chloe has settle back into school very easily...she really is just the sweetess thing....

So thats about it really...oh one more thing...I'm doing a workshop at Shop & Crop all the info can be found here if anyone is interested...*fiona*

I thought I should finally update my blog…seriously I really have been busy…lol

Chloe & Owen have both had their birthdays; I can hardly believe Chloe is 7 and that my little man is off to school next year!?! His last term at Kinder has been jamb packed with excursions to a farm, Sovereign Hill, the cinema, our local hospital and next week his Naivety Play…we can hardly say his last term has been boring!

Andrews’s brother has become engaged and it is quite exciting for the whole family lots of talk about weddings, dresses etc….I have offered to do the Stationary set for them naturally. Laura rang a few weeks ago now and asked if it was possible to do 120 invites ASAP as they had decided to have an engagement party before Christmas, so we had our selves an assembly line and it all worked out fine, it was kind of nice to spend a bit of time getting to know Laura a lot better.

A while back now I was lucky enough to have Shirley Chai take some family photos for us…she is such a beautiful person and her photos are amazing you can check them out here...

In October we went for a family holiday to Queensland, well Andrew worked for some of the time, however for the kids and I it was a whole lot of time just relaxing by the pool…we had the chance to visit Movie World & Wet & Wild, as you can imagine we had heaps of fun…

When I last left….lol….I promised some photos of our IKEA furniture…well as promised check these guys out…I have to say I totally love my scrap roomJ

And lastly we have been in a baking frenzy, Christmas always means shortbread & yo yo’s for us; however this year we thought we might give different cookies a try…

But we have gone back to our yo yo’s as they are our fav’s

I still haven’t taken our family Christmas photos *sigh* and I need to do our cards *sigh* I have however been taking photos everyday for the month of December for this years Christmas Journal and this is our tree all covered in lights and not much else….lol…the kids do most of the decorating now, I just get to put the tree together!?! 

Before I go, I Soooo have to share this…Owen woke the day after we decorated the tree and came straight to me and said “MUMMY….mummy…somebody has stolen our Christmas lights!” I tried not to laugh and say “its ok dude….mummy just turned them off before she went to bed”…how cute is that??

Just busy with everyday things...

I've been to Ikea and somehow I managed to buy quite a few items...Andrew put the last piece together Friday night...very exciting...so I've been doing the clean as I place the new furniture in place thing, I guess you could say having a spring clean:) When everything is looking *fab* I'll take some photos to share...

*We also had Landscapers here last week..Andrew and finally realized that we were never going to find the time to do the garden ourselves, while it was a relief to have somebody fix everything, it was a little weird not doing it ourselves!?! Photos to follow...

* I received a letter from Canon last week, just stating that they have received the lens and will be looked at soon, so fingers crossed I will have a replacement soon.

*Chloe has been sick since Thursday with some sort of cold, she is such a sweet heart I hate to see her so miserable, I think I'll keep her home from school for one more day, Chloe thinks this is a good idea too:) I'll wait and see what her temperature is in the morning...

* Chloe had her school concert last week and it was sooo  good, Chloe class dressed as little airplanes, they were just the adoreable or may be I'm biased!

The lens on my camera stopped working on friday, I'm not even sure what I have done...it really is the pits...I feel so lost with out my camera, hopefully canon will replace it for me!?! I've reading review since friday night trying to pick another lens to buy...I can't seem to decide, I will have too soon as I have stuff I need to take photos of for Shop & Crop...so if anybody can advise me, I would ever so grateful, any info at all would great...

*everyday thing*

This blogging everyday thing is kind of cool, I don't think it will last...but it fun while it lasts...

Today was really not that exciting, Mum and I went shopping together...food shopping that is! I thought I would get a little Wilde and try something new, so we went to Safeway instead of Coles...I never realized that safeway had such funky home stuff!?! I found these cool toothbrushe holders for the kids bathroom and some other cool stuff...how funny are kids?? You would have thought I brought Chloe & Owen a new car each, rather than $5 toothbrushe holders:) Their reaction was really sweet and made me smile, so of course I thought I should take a photo and all you scrappers will totally understand:) Cute aren't they??

Our scrap room is still not clean and the kids have decided that floor is a much better option for coloring...Chloe is having a friend over tomorrow night after school for a play and happened to make mention that I might like to have the room clean before Mia arrives as it could be embarrassing when she wants sew!!!...kids!?! they soooo crack me up....at least half the mess in here is Miss Chloe's...I would hate to embarrass Chloe, so I feel that tonight or tomorrow is a must for room cleaning:)

I believe the whether in Ballarat is starting to change it is almost like you can smell spring in the air...don't get me wrong it is still freezing, however the sun is shinning and making most things seem bright & fresh...so fresh in fact I hung the sheets out on the line for the first time in ages! and man they smelt so good when I brought them inside [almost dry]

I've been reading the book Designing with Photos and it is *awesome*...I love it...so on that thought I will leave this post with this thought...."DOCUMENTATION is what we see...INTERPRETATION is how we feel about what we see".....*fiona*

Another post!?! That's what 2 in 3 days?? man...go me!

When I went to the post office this morning, I wasn't really expecting anything exciting and I wasn't disappointed...LOL...just heaps of bills, which means more entering for me doh! but the new CK was there, that's a good thing...look at that cool pic, I've been taking heaps of photos the last couple of days...but can you see my cool crumpler bag in the back ground?? my mummy brought that for me for my birthday, very *cool* of her I thought...well it turns out that I can fit my camera inside the bag...How unreal is that?? that's why I've been taking heaps of pics, I always have my handy dandy camera at the ready;)

These are some other photos I've been taking...this is Owen 'helping' me pick up my photos from the camera/photo shop this morning...he is like pushing the traffic button 100 times, he looks so innocent though!?! and this is Owen checking out the flower shop window, color always attracts his attention! and since I had my handy dandy camera, I thought why not:)

And this what I was doing yesterday, a big fat nothing!?!  It was fun though...I was checking out Ikea and I suddenly had this thought that I need to 'fix' my scraproom, so that we can actually move around...LOL...and well it turns out that it is not out of the question price wise, so next Thursday or Friday the ever so lovely husband is going to take me to Ikea! how freaking exciting!!! So the plans are actually our house, my scraproom is bedroom 2 and I made these cute little pieces of furniture that I would like to purchase to scale, to see if they would fit in our room...I know crazy, but fun...and this is what I should be doing right now cleaning up this mess, this is 'our' scraproom a big fat mess!! I've been avoiding it for days...hence the cute little to scale pieces of furniture and I'm guessing this post...LOL...So with that thought, I think it time to clean this room...until tomorrow (yeah right??) I'm off to clean up this mess, which I must say is not all mine...*fiona*

*june & july*

June has been a much better month for me, a big thank you to everyone who dropped me an email...this was again a super busy month, I had ours & the company's tax to prepare, but I don't want to talk about that! While I have been busy with work & other stuff, I've  been taking a step back from the whole scrapbooking thing,  basically keeping up with my commitments with Shop & Crop.  While it has been nice to  take a break, I'm now itching to get back into the piles of photos that are mounting up. This is what I've been creating recently...

*I also had to update my computer, which was great as it is so much faster, but moving all my photos & doc's etc....has been the biggest pain EVER.

*On the home front we finally able to fill up one of our empty rooms with a new couch & TV, so our house isn't looking as bare as it was...

*I was also able to catch up with a friend and take some photos of her spunky little Zac man, check him out! he is just sooooo sweet...

*We have had snow in Ballarat and I didn't take any pictures, I'm now regretting that decision, well it wasn't actually a decision, it just sort of never happened! too be honest I've barely taken any photos at all! very slack...very slack...

*We visited the wildlife park in Ballarat over the school holidays and it was heaps of fun, we went with one of Chloe's friends family and I actually grabbed some photos this is one of my fav's even though it is a bit blurry, the look on Owen face cracks me up...

* Adele my bestest friend came to visit during the holidays and stayed a couple of nights, she is learning face painting and to my children's delight Adele painted their faces. the kids got along great and we all had heaps of fun laughing and talking, talking & laughing...I actually think our girls talked as much as us! this photo makes me smile as both Adele & I would love the girls to become as good as friends as what we are...

* I also over the school holidays drove to Warnambool for the the Kids Festival they hold every year, we stayed two nights and spent one whole day doing nothing but children's activities! and needless to say the kids thought it was great, and I must admit it was a pretty good setup

* July was a Harry Potter month for me, I seen the new movie twice, reread the Half Blood Prince to make sure I was ready for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which for me was no disappointment, I picked up the book at little after 9:01am after standing in the line at BigW and I finished the book at 1:45am Sunday!?! I simply could not put it down. The kids must have picked up on my love for Harry Potter, as they brought me the DVD's for my birthday:)

See once I get started I can't stop:)

Well I would have to say that this sums up may for me!?! I'm really looking forward to moving on to June, although that is normally such a crap month too, with all the tax doc that need to be sorted & prepared!

Don't get me wrong there has been some good stuff too..however I seem to have just have a  bad month...I feel as though everyone & every thing is running ahead and I'm running after everything trying to play catch up, I fix one problem and then there is another! I can't find any balance at all...and I started so well...anyway, moving on, at least my kids are happy & healthy...i must be doing something right?? Here is too next month..a new & fresh month....*fiona*
